ring forms and classic earrings are being transformed and combined into new
jewellery. They used to be worn by people I know. Being cast they stand alone
or correlate with each other. The jewellery is black and raw. The white
silver appears only at the cut of sprue. Visible on the surface are either human seals such as traces from teeth or fingerprints or synthetic stones in different colours that are casually poured all over the surface. Some of the ZirconiaÕs are slightly covered with a skin from the casting process. This cover is being removed by wearing the rings and earrings. The tops of most rings are roughened. The person wearing the jewellery will leave her or his marks. After a while the black surface is being worn off and the surface of the jewellery will start to shine brightly. |
