Wald I made
this work during a residency in Canada. I reacted on found objects I came
across. The materials are either naturally grown or industrially produced,
but somehow always products of cultivation and civilisation. I worked
preferably with found materials. The haptic moment is important to me. The surfaces need to suit the sense of touch. The forms developed through combination of materials. Each element does not work by itself but need the others to be held. The intended function of the piece led me to the final form of the jewellery work. |
